Welcome to Naked Lunch, a delightful eatery nestled in Boulder, Colorado, located at 3301 Arapahoe Ave. This charming spot brings a fresh and vibrant twist to your lunch and breakfast experience. As a food reviewer for Restaurant World, I had the pleasure of diving into the offerings of Naked Lunch, where healthful choices meet artisanal flair.
At Naked Lunch, the motto is "Good Clean Food," and they embody this philosophy beautifully with an impressive selection of salads and sandwiches. The menu showcases a variety of creative and wholesome options, meticulously crafted with locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.
- Salads: Each salad is a colorful medley of robust flavors and textures. For instance, the Michigander Salad, featuring mix greens, goat cheese, apples, dried cranberries, walnuts, and a creamy maple dressing, is a refreshing delight. The Cobberado Salad with its rich combination of romaine, goat cheese, avocado, and bacon, paired with a zesty ranch, is another standout.
- Sandwiches: The cold sandwiches shine on the menu. I was particularly drawn to the Brie & Apple Sandwich – a perfect balance of sweetness and savory on ciabatta, complemented by honey mustard. The Roast Beef Sandwich, with its robust flavors enhanced by horseradish mayo and pickled red onions, is another customer favorite, receiving rave reviews for its generous portion and quality ingredients.
- Breakfast Items: For morning diners, Naked Lunch provides an enticing selection of breakfast sandwiches, including a vegan-friendly Tofu Scramble. Both traditional and gluten-free options ensure there’s something for everyone to enjoy, whether it's a hearty breakfast biscuit or refreshing granola with yogurt.
The ambiance at Naked Lunch is equally inviting. The combination of cozy indoor seating and a lovely patio creates the perfect spot to enjoy your meal. Guests have remarked on the friendly and attentive staff, who add to the warm, welcoming vibe. Cute little place. Turn R, then into Peleton condo/apartments parking right after turning off Arapahoe. Food came quickly. I got the Mediterranean Rice salad. Really liked it!! Plenty of leftover for a snack later. Husband got the Roast beef sandwich and he said 5 stars. I tried it and it was a good choice.

Convenient location for my wife and I, we have become frequent customers ! A good variety of breakfast / lunch items to choose from and everything we've tried has been delicious. We bring our guests down for coffee and a treat for breakfast and wonderful sandwiches for lunch. The staff is friendly and more than happy to help with any questions or special requests. We especially like the lattes and creative drinks they present daily.

Cute place with tasty sandwiches and a nice patio for sitting outside. Had the turkey sandwich, which was great and the roast beef which was very good. I just can't get over how high prices are for just a sandwich , no chips. For sandwich taste, I give the edge to Curtis park deli but this had a nicer atmosphere if you want to eat in. Service was friendly and helpful.

Another year off before going twice in a week - it's a ground hog's day experience for us as we can only go the last week of July each year - nothing changes and that's just fine with my son and me. The sandwiches are delicious - the service is fast and friendly and the ambience is pretty chill. Construction out front made a bit more challenging to park and get in but we managed to dine once for lunch and get sandwiches to go another time. Each sandwich is delicious in its own right We haven't eaten one we didn't like yet.

Terrific salads and sandwiches. Bakery items are so-so. Friendly staff. Beverages are very good

Such a hidden jem , delicious breakfast nice simple but oh so good Found out it's been in business for over 30 years and it's a family and you can see it in the care they've given my eggs were delicious sourdough toast, bacon my husband's pancake he couldn't stop talking about it

Cozy café good for lunch. The spicy turkey sandwich was flavorful and not overly complex. The apples in my sandwich were not my usual, but these were perfectly sliced. Friendly staff, mobile order was prompt.

SOLID SANDWICH STOP - super easy and free parking - decent size menu of hot & cold sandwiches, variety of salads and lots of coffee options (including Nitro Brew on draft) - accommodate dietary needs (vegan, vegetarian, gf, etc.) - a kind and friendly serving staff - classic sandwich shop vibes - $3 All Day Draft Beers (three to choose from) So why 4 stars? The Spicy Turkey was a 3 star experience. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. My bread was slightly stale, which made the sandwich very dry. It's also listed as a "hot" sandwich, however, seemed cold. It just wasn't The Spicy Turkey sandwiches day! With that said, I think everything else warrants another visit. Maybe, I'll try a salad next time or get a rec for THE sandwich they are known for. (:

I was in Boulder and wanted for a sandwich for lunch so, I tried Naked Lunch. The shop is located in The Peloton building, which confused me at first because you can't see it from the main road. But, after entering the driveway for the complex I saw the shop and I was able to get a parking spot right in front (they have a couple spots reserved). There are plenty of tables, indoors and outdoors also. Naked lunch has sandwiches (hot and cold options), salads, soups, breakfast items (sandwiches, granola with yogurt, biscuits, donuts), pastries, smoothies, coffee and tea. They also have catering and family size platters. They focus on locally sourced, seasonal and organic food. Their motto is Good Clean Food! So, you can feel good about eating here! I ordered the Brie & Apple sandwich with turkey, mixed greens and honey mustard on ciabatta bread. It was delicious! The sandwich was 11.50, so you are paying a little more than your average sub shop but, you get quality, healthy ingredients. I would definitely return here if I'm in the area again!
